I can tell you that my HD2 didn't enjoy such a good result as the one shown in the video above but it did work, the HD2 is only equiped with a 4 inch screen but to be honest i think it looks just fine running a tablet version of Android, huray for the Honeycomb HD2 !!
Thats my HD2 in the pic above, im going to spend the weekend seeing what this is capable of, its got great potential – its quick for an alpha stage port too so who knows where this will go, hopefully many other decent android devices will be gifted with a honeycomb port soon too.
Android Honeycomb v3 was always going to be ported to other devices it wasnt originally intended for and one device that always receives the latest and greatest porting attention is our favorite HTC ever – the legendary HD2, its far from a fully fixed build but who cares, its a glimpse of whats to come.
Mostly all you get is the badly fitted homescreen and the launchers app menu, other than that its hard to find it really usefull at this stage but im sure the devs at XDA will see to that in no time, heres where you can try this on your own HD2 if you have ten mins free.
