The FaceLock for Apps Pro 2.5.2 for Android HTC HD2 Application is application that protect both your phone and your Android HTCHD2 application with face recognition and with FaceLock for application, you don't need to wait for Android 4.0 to use face unlock on your phone. FaceLock also lets you choose individual application you want to protect. Your face is the key to unlock your Android HTCHD2 phone and your applications too.
Here is the first steps to start the application:
1.You have to set an alternative access mode ("Set password, PIN or pattern").
2.Then you have to train the face recognition engine ("Train face recognition" - you can find some tips below).
3.After you do that, you can check "Enable FaceLock" (and "Use as phone lock screen" too, if you want to use it to unlock the phone - available in the Pro version).
4.If you want to protect certain apps, you can select them in "Locked applications".

Do not forget to read the Tips below:
>> Train the recognition engine with images taken under different lighting conditions.
>> It is highly advisable to have a front-facing camera and Android version 2.3 (Gingerbread).
>> Train about 10-15 images, under different lighting conditions. You can train a couple more images whenever you're not recognized quickly. Do not train too many images (30-40 max) or performance will decrease.
>> Try to do the training with good, soft lighting, not under the harsh light of a spotlight or in darkness.
>> Try to hold your phone steady so you don't get a blurry image (a blurry image of a face will match pretty much any other face).
>> You can check the image you're training: look at the miniature image at the lower right corner, it's the last detected face.
>> Just one bad training image can spoil the training. Please make sure the lighting is good, not causing the face to be grainy or full of hard shadows and highlights.
>> For more security, you can raise the security level (the default is medium). For better recognition you can train more images or lower the level.
>> If you're in a different environment with very different lighting or you are now wearing glasses, or a beard, you can train a few more images in order to be recognized quickly.
