The quite brilliant developer Dcordes has done it again with another fantastic release for the wickedly versatile HTC HD2, the HD2 is no stranger to the linux kernel and among available builds that run on it are various versions of Ubuntu! Dcordes is the main man where Ubuntu on Hd2 is concerned and here we have screenshots of the latest build version 0.3.
Whats unbelievable here is that the latest build does all the usual stuff a phone should do while maintaining a fully working Ubuntu user interface and all the full size working applications linux offers too. So here goes with a text message.
So if you have the desire to try something quite amazing with your HTC HD2 why not install ubuntu onto it – it doesnt take too much in the way of technical know how as Dcordes has done all the hard work ( as he has so many times before )
Here link on ''XDA-Devs'' why not say thank you to Dcordes while your at it, if not for Ubuntu then for his efforts in porting Android to the Hd2 back in the spring of this year – it wasnt just Cotulla that got Android working you know.
